Forklift Operator with Bale Clamp

Are you an experienced forklift operator with knowledge of the bale clamp? In Rotterdam, we are looking for someone who wants to work full-time in the recycling sector. You will handle compressed bales of paper and plastic, ensuring everything is moved safely and efficiently across the site.

In this role, you will operate a forklift equipped with a bale clamp on a daily basis. Your responsibilities include:

• Operating a forklift with a bale clamp
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Picking up, moving, and stacking bales of paper and plastic
• Loading containers
• Moving materials to the correct location on site
• Checking that bales are stored safely and securely
• Performing daily checks on the forklift
• Reporting any irregularities or unsafe situations
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organized
• Assisting with other tasks on site as needed

You work independently and maintain an overview, even when things get busy. Safety and accuracy are always your top priorities.

• Experience operating a forklift and a valid forklift certificate
• Experience working with a bale clamp is a plus
• Experience in (paper) recycling
• Available to work full-time
• Works safely, accurately, and independently
• Able to maintain an overview in a dynamic environment
• Motivated, reliable, and hands-on
• Sufficient Dutch and/or English language skills to work and communicate safely

• Salary between €2,718 and €3,307 gross per month based on 40 hours, depending on your experience and placement
• Employment conditions according to the Beroepsgoederenvervoer collective labor agreement
• Full-time position for the long term

These materials are compressed into bales and prepared for further processing and reuse.
