Are you someone who enjoys physical outdoor work and takes pride in a job well done? Then the position of Groundworker is perfect for you. This is a physically active outdoor job across the Utrecht region.

Your work as a groundworker will take you to different locations, for example, sports parks, industrial sites, and streets and spaces. Every day is different, and you’ll be part of a skilled group of colleagues. As a groundworker, your main tasks include:

• Carrying out earthworks and excavation for construction and reconstruction projects
• Digging and closing trenches for cables and pipelines
• Assisting with the installation of sewers, drains, and manholes
• Measuring, marking out, and performing simple paving work

As a groundworker, you'll work from Monday to Friday, from 07:00 to 16:00.

• You have at least 2 years of experience with a tiny excavator
• Experience in construction is an advantage
• Living in or near Utrecht
• Physically able to perform heavy work
• In possession of a valid driver’s license B and able to travel independently to work location
• Fluent in English, due to communication with your colleague

• Salary between €2,534 and €3,021 gross per month
• Travel allowance of €0.32 per kilometer
• Free training budget up to €2,500 to obtain your skills
